On Tuesday night, after supper we realized that Alex was running a fever. So, on Wednesday, Peg-P and Gran decided to stay back with Hunter, Anna, and Alex while Alex rested. So, our little family went to the Magic Kingdom again. We missed everyone else, but we still had a great time! As soon as we got off the monterail, the bottom dropped out! Everyone stood underneath the awning and started putting on ponchos. Chase was a little reluctant to put on his poncho until he realized that it had Lightning McQueen on it! (thank you Peg-P). And once Chase put his on, Hank decided he was up for it! I think Drew was the hardest to convince to put on his poncho...and he did not appreciate me laughing at him the whole time he had it on! (ponchos are kinda funny though!)
The rain slowed down to a sprinkle, so we went on in. We were kinda glad that it rained because there were no lines! We did the teacups first and then headed over to Mickey Philarmagic (a 3D show). Here are some pictures from that....the boys LOVED it! Chase is really into the 3D stuff...he kept reaching out in front of him to touch what he thought was there...it was funny!
When we came out of that, the rain had stopped and the weather was perfect the rest of the day! Chase wanted to ride the carousel, so we did that and it was fun! Hank loved it too! They both wanted to ride it again, so we did it twice!
Then we headed over to see Goofy, Donald, Minnie, and Daisy....Chase was so excited to see all of them again and get his picture made! Here he is with his favorite...

The place where the characters were was called Pete's Silly Slideshow. As I have mentioned before, Chase likes to give all of us character identities for whatever he is into. When it comes to Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Chase is Goofy, Hank is Donald, Ruby is Pluto, I am Daisy...so when I asked Chase who Daddy was, he said "Pete". I had not watched the show much at that time, and I said "Who is Pete?"...Chase quickly responded "Daddy". When I told Drew, he was not very appreciative...he said Pete is the "big guy" :) We have laughed so many times at that, so Drew had to get his picture made with Pete :)
We just let Chase lead the way this day since it was just us and it was our last day. He really wanted to ride Dumbo again, so we did that of course. Here he is with Daddy....
He has told everyone his favorite rides at Disney World were the race cars and Its a Small World ("paul worold"). So, he and Drew rode the race cars two times and Hank and I enjoyed watching them! The second time, Chase really wanted to drive Lightning McQueen ("Lightning Mteen"), so Drew had to run and get a red car when they got to the front of the line!
After that, Chase wanted to ride the people mover...which kinda cracked me up. I mean, I really liked it, but I wouldn't have thought it would've been one of his favorites! Here we are on that...
There is a chance Hank may have fallen out if we weren't careful!
Then we went and rode Its a Small World again and The Pirates of the Caribean (which we were nervous about, but ended up being one of the boys' favorites!) We were also able to catch a show at the castle and the boys LOVED it! They were so excited! Now, every time I turn on a Disney movie, Chase says "Mommy, we saw that castle!"

Hank clapped and danced the whole trip!
Here we are in front of the castle....the best picture we could get :) After this we watched a parade on main street and then headed out. We had a great day at the Magic Kingdom!
On our way out, we let each of the boys pick a treat. Chase picked a Goofy cookie and Hank picked a Lightning McQueen cookie...they both dug in as soon as we got in the car!
After leaving the Magic Kingdom, we went to Downtown Disney. They had a gift store there that had pretty much everything Disney. We had told the boys they could each pick out a surprise, so we thought it would be best to go there so they would have more to choose from. Chase picked out Mickey Mouse and Hank picked out Pluto. Now Chase has Goofy and Mickey and Hank has Donald and Pluto!
We went back to the condo and we were glad to hear that Alex was feeling better after sleeping all day. So, that night we all went back to Downtown Disney and ate at a Dinosaur restaurant. It was really neat and everyone had a great time!
Peg-P and Gran got a really neat dessert that we all enjoyed!
The next day we headed home! Hunter, Anna, and Alex were able to go to the Magic Kingdom for a while before leaving, Peg-P and Gran flew back to Birmingham, and we drove back to Birmingham. It was such a great trip and we are so thankful for the time that we got to spend together. Thank you sooooo much, Peg-P and Gran!
