Birthdays, Birthdays, Birthdays!

We celebrated Drew's birthday at home on Thursday (his real birthday), then Friday night we celebrated Drew and Julie's birthdays at the Cochran's house, then Saturday night we went to Julie's 30th birthday party at she and Clay's house, then Sunday we celebrated Drew, Anna, and Peg-P's birthdays at our house!  Lets just say, it was a GREAT weekend for Chase....cake, cake, and more cake!
Here is Julie with Hank and George...the boys wore their Halloween costumes but we were able to get a picture of all of them.  However, we had a great time being together!

Apparently Hank loves icing just as much as his brother!

Happy Birthday Daddy!

Drew turned 33 on November 1 and we had a great time celebrating!  I am so thankful to have gotten to be a part of his life for 15 of those years.  We were so happy because he finished working nights (which had lasted the whole month of October) on October 31, so we were so thankful that we could have him at home for Halloween and his birthday!  Drew is the most wonderful husband, friend, and father in the world and we are so so thankful for him!  He is definitely the favorite in our household!  We are thankful for another wonderful year together and love him so so much!  I hope our sweet boys turn out just like him! :)

Chase is all about licking the candles!

Happy Halloween!

Halloween was such a fun day!  Chase and Hank's school has farmer day every year on Halloween and all of the kids dress up like farmers and they have their very own pumpkin patch!  Here is a picture of Chase and Hank before school that morning...matching in their carhartt overalls- they looked so cute!  I wish they could have gotten their picture made with Alex, because he was wearing his too!

This was a picture that the director at their school emailed me of Chase's class and his teachers on farmer day.  I thought is was so cute and sweet of her to do that.  Chase LOVES his teachers and his friends at school!

And here is the one she sent me of sweet little Hank with his pumpkin...

That afternoon we got ready to trick-or-treat!  Here is Dr. Chase, Dr. Hank, and Dr. Ruby! (Ruby is always such a trooper!)

We went over to Hunter and Anna's neighborhood again this year to trick-or-treat and had a great time!  Alex was a doctor too, so they all looked so cute together!  Chase was excited about his candy and he did not fall down quite as much this year as he did last year!  And, it was so sweet to hear his little voice say "Tik or teet" (Trick or treat) and then, "Tank you!"

Jackson was such a precious little pumpkin...he stayed back at the house, but I am sure that he will have fun next year!

Daddy and Chase trick-or-treating....Alex is already on the porch..

Alex and Chase...

Hank hung out in the stroller, but he had fun looking at everyone. It is hard to believe that he was in my tummy last Halloween!

Hank having some hands on time with Jackson :)  I am sure they will be good buddies!

Hank with Peg-P.  Mom and Dad came over there too.  We went to trick-or-treat at their house before going over to Hunter and Anna's...I wish I had taken some pictures there, but I didn't :(

Hank and Gran...

Fun in October

These are just a few random pictures that I took in October...here is Chase and Daddy playing outside (Chase's favorite afternoon activity these days!:)  He is wearing his jackolantern shirt that they made at school.  I thought it was so cute!

Here, I caught Chase teaching Hank how to be a cowboy :)

This is when Alex was at our house the day Baby Jackson was born...he and Chase made a train with the boxes in our living room...they had so much fun!

Our neighbors down the street had a Halloween party the Saturday night before Halloween.   It was so much fun and we were so glad that we got to go!  We all had dinner, and then they set up a hayride for the kids and took them on a little loop through the neighborhood.  Chase loved it!

Chase and Hank made a train in Chase's room...always having fun together!

Fall Festival

The Friday before Halloween, we had our Fall Festival at church.  The boys wore their doctor costumes and we all had a great time!

Chase and Daddy rode one of the big rides!  We didn't even go see these last year, but we thought maybe Chase was old enough.  We wondered if he would be scared, but he loved it!  It went pretty fast, so I was proud of him...and Daddy of course!

Then I got to climb up the big inflatable slide with him and go down...it was so much fun!

Collier and Clayton's Birthday Party

The weekend before Halloween, our friends, Collier and Clayton, had a birthday party.  It was at the Floyd's farm, and Chase had the best time!  Hank had been sick, so he stayed at Mama Zo and Pops' house while we took Chase to the party (Hank, of course, had a great day too!)  When we got to the party, all of the kids got on a hayride and rode it over to some horses...

Chase and Daddy on the hayride...

Then, all of the kids got to ride a horse...Chase was in Heaven!  I think his favorite thing to do is ride a horse and he had been looking forward to this for a couple of weeks!  I love this picture of Chase with Daddy and Wes, waiting to ride...

Chase riding the horse...

After that, everyone got back on the hayride and rode to another part of the farm where they had a pumpkin patch.  All of the kids got to pick out a pumpkin...Chase loved this too!

Then, they all got to decorate their pumpkins!

Chase was also really excited that Mr. Floyd let him play on the tractor for a little bit!
