Zbinden Family Reunion at the Beach!

In August, we got to go to Gulf Shores for the Zbinden family reunion.  Drew's Nana was in charge this year, and we had so much fun!  We were sad that Clay, Julie, and George weren't able to come, but we were glad that most of the rest of the family was able to be there.  Here we are set up on the beach...Chase loves the sand!

On Saturday night, we had the reunion with all of the Zbindens and we had a great time!  We ate together and listened to Nana, Papa's youngest brother and his wife, and another sister-in-law talk about Papa's mother.  It was really neat to learn more about her and such a special time!  Here is a picture of Chase and Hank at the beginning...poor Hank had a reaction to his sunscreen!

The kids had fun playing with the handbells!

Aunt Gina had these shirts made and they were really neat!  This was the back of the shirt...it has everyone's name in the Zbinden family...

The next night we went to The Wharf and rode the ferris wheel...I think that was the hardest that I laughed the whole trip!  We all got in one ferris wheel cart....Pops, Mama Zo, Drew, Wes, Chase, Hank, and me....it was hilarious!  We were so smooshed in there and then they stopped us at the very top for quite a while.  Wes was not very humored and Chase (who was totally calm) kept telling Wes to turn around and look at the lights behind him.  It was so funny!

Here are Chase and Hank walking with Wes...

Everyone's faces at the top...

a little nervous :)...

Unfortunately I don't have a picture of Mama Zo, but she was there and enjoying the experience as well :)
