Our Beach Trip!

We had a great trip to the beach and Chase loved it!!! My Aunt and Uncle introduced us to a house in Gulf Shores several years ago and we have been going ever since. We love the beach and we were so glad that Chase loved it too! We got down to Gulf Shores at about 1:00 the first day, so we just went and played in the ocean for a bit after getting checked in and getting unpacked. We got Chase this little blow-up boat and he was getting ready to go to the ocean!


Chase loved playing in the ocean with his Daddy for the first time! We were so glad that he had fun and wasn't scared at all!





He liked sitting on the sand and letting the waves hit him!


And, he really had fun in his boat...



The first night we were there, we went to eat dinner at The Original Oyster House. There is always a very long wait there, and they have a stand where you can get a daiquiri while you wait. We got a strawberry daiquiri, wondering if Chase would like it...he answered that question real fast! Drew and I barely got to have any...Chase wouldn't even take the straw out of his mouth to smile for the camera!

Our first full day out on the beach, and Chase loved it! He loved getting our chairs (and everything) all sandy!

We were glad that we got this little baby pool to put under the tent. Chase's favorite thing to do was to get in the pool, then roll around in the sand, then go get in Daddy's lap!

He was all about some "Da da" at the beach....and all the time now! He loves Drew so much and it is so sweet!

Chase and Daddy....


Chase and Uncle Wes (U-dub)...we were so excited that Uncle Wes came with us for some of the time- he made the trip even more fun and we all loved having him there!

We went and ate at Tacky Jacks the last night- Chase is swinging with Daddy at the restaurant...

After we ate, we took Chase to ride the ferris wheel. He wasn't sure what he thought about it...he didn't cry, but he did hold on to Drew's shirt the entire ride. His mama was nice and didn't shake the cart when we got to the top (like she usually does with Daddy):)


This was the closest thing that we got to smile on the ride...

After we rode the ferris wheel, we went and got dip-n-dots (for the second time on the trip). Chase LOVED dip-n-dots!

Again, no breaking away from his food to smile for the camera!

We had a great trip and we were so sad to leave! Can't wait until the next beach trip!
