Chase is a Big Boy!!!

Chase has now spent ten straight nights in his big boy bed and he has done so well! He has only gotten out once, and that time I heard him on the monitor quietly saying "Mama" until I came and opened the door to find him standing at the foot of his bed. He LOVES his big boy bed and we are so thankful! He loves his big boy room too...we are slowly getting it ready so that Hank can have the nursery when he comes home. Chase loves to cuddle with Drew and/or me in his
bed (Drew at night and me in the morning).

Most importantly, Chase has to have his lion that my friend Stacey gave him when he was born...

Chase LOVES taking Ruby on walks too! Ruby used to go stand by her leash when we asked her if she wanted to go on a walk, but now Chase goes and gets it for her when we talk about going on a walk. I am sure he would really love it if he could walk Ruby around the neighborhood, but we are still sticking with the stroller for now!

And, he is enjoying driving Daddy's car these days :) He really has become more interested in cars. When we see our car in the parking lot, he says "our car". And then, he points to every silver car and says "Daddy". He also points to all the trucks and says "truck". I asked him the other day if Daddy needed a truck and he quickly nodded "yes"...Drew agreed :)


He is also feeding himself with his spoon these days. His teachers at school told me that he had been feeding himself lunch with a normal size spoon, but he had obviously been holding out on us at home. Then, the other night, he just picked up his spoon and went to town! He is feeding himself chili here...


He is also saying several two-word phrases now, which his speech-therapist Mama loves! He has started coloring more and really loves that and he has recently learned to jump..which he really enjoys!
