Oh Christmas tree Oh Christmas tree!

We always go the Saturday after Thanksgiving to get our Christmas tree and we had a great time doing that this year!  The last two years we went out to Springville to get our tree at a place down the street from Pops' and Mama Zo's house, but this year Drew had to work nights the weekend after Thanksgiving, so we got our tree from the boy scouts so it wouldn't take as long.  We missed seeing Pops, Mama Zo, and Wes while getting our tree, but Chase was a good help this year.

He had a great time running around in the trees!

Hank, Chase, and Daddy with our tree (Hank was sleeping when we first got there)..

This is when we got home....both boys were already passed out and we only drove about 5 minutes...Christmas tree shopping wore them out!

After they woke up we started decorating!  Chase LOVED helping Drew put the lights on the tree this year...he was so proud!

Chase putting his first ornament on the tree...he was such a great help and so much fun this year!

Hank helping Daddy put his first ornament on the tree...he had such a great time this year too!

I had to take a picture of this...this is how Chase put his ornaments on the tree- he just put all of them on one branch!  Then, throughout the month of December, we would often find that Chase had moved a bunch of ornaments and put them all on the same branch again...

Here is Hank going after Chase's ornaments...I was surprised that Hank didn't do more of this this  year.  He was pretty good about leaving them alone- I guess he was too busy playing with Ruby's toys or the remote controls! :)

Chase helping Daddy vacuum the rug after we finished decorating :)

Here is Chase decorating his tree in his room...he loved his tree!  Once again, we would find all of the ornaments moved to one branch on his tree just about every day!

That night we watched the Auburn Alabama game....here is Hank in his jersey and I hate I didn't get one of all of the boys.  Honestly, I think we are trying to block that game out of our memories :)  But, it is still great to be an Auburn Tiger and Chase still loves his Auburn tigers! :)
