Early Thanksgiving

On Sunday, we had Thanksgiving at my parents' house because Hunter, Anna, and Alex went to her parents' house for Thanksgiving this year. We had a great time and we were so glad that we were able to take Hank and his lamp. We have so much to be thankful for, and we had a great time all together. Here, Alex and Chase are looking at Hank...

Hank on his lamp...we did our best to make sure he wasn't left out

Chase and Alex playing together in their matching turkey shirts. They have so much fun together and they just love each other so much! It is so much fun to watch them the older they get. Chase does whatever Alex does and he follows him wherever he goes :)

Hank's first day at home

On Saturday morning, we had to take Hank to the doctor because his bilirubin level was high when we left the hospital on Friday. We found out at the doctor that Hank was going to have to spend some time on a bilirubin lamp to get his level down. We were glad that Nana got to come meet Hank that day before the nurse came with the lamp. He immediately loved Nana, of course.

We were glad that Aunt Gina also got to come with Nana...

We were also glad that Uncle Wes made it home to meet Hank before he went on the lamp. This picture was actually taken while the nurse was getting the lamp ready for Hank. Chase loves his Uncle Wes and I know Hank will too!

Sweet little Hank on the lamp. We were so sad because we could only take him off to feed him and change him. But, we were blessed that we got to be at home the whole time and didn't have to go to the hospital. He was so sweet the whole time, and Chase checked on his baby very frequently.

Daddy feeding Hank. It would take about 30 minutes for Hank to eat a half an ounce. He was a trooper, though, and so sweet.

Drew has taught Chase to take off his own clothes before he gets in the bath at night. He is so proud of himself and he loves to practice!

I had to put this in here...this is the painting that is above Hank's crib. When Chase was born, we had one done for him that was a little boy with Ruby (we gave the painter pictures of Ruby, so she could make it look like her). The same painter did this painting for Hank of two little boys with Ruby. We were so happy with it!

Chase dressing up in Mama's clothes!

Pops and Mama Zo came by and Mama Zo got to hold Hank when we got him up to feed him...

Welcome Home Hank!

Hank came home from the hospital on Friday, November 18th. He wore the same gown that Chase wore when he came home and he looked just as precious in it! We were so excited to get him home...especially Chase! Chase loved having a buddy in the backseat with him for the trip home. Here is Chase helping Daddy feed Hank...

Hank's Hospital Stay

Everything went very well during our hospital stay and Hank was very blessed to have visitors. We really appreciated our family and friends taking time out of their busy schedules to come meet Hank...he is so blessed to already have such wonderful people in his life!

Here is Hank with Chase and his Peg-P and Gran. Hank's grandparents were so sweet to wait in the waiting room for him to be born!

Several of our friends were so sweet to come and bring their kids. Here is Hank with Marie, Collier, and Emma. Chase had already left at this point, but I know he would have enjoyed seeing everyone :)

These sweet friends of mine all came to visit together....it meant so much!

Andi and Jonathan were so sweet to come meet Hank too!

We wouldn't have made it through Chase's extended hospital visits without the portable dvd player and Elmo!
