Granny's Family Reunion

Every August we love going to Drew's Granny's family reunion....Chase loved it again this year! We are so thankful for Granny and Grandaddy and we love getting to see them whenever we can. Here is Chase coming down the slide to Drew and Wes...

More time with Alex and family...

We tried to get in as much time with Alex as possible before summer ended. These pictures were taken when Mom and Dad (Peg-P and Gran) and I took Chase and Alex to the Galleria to ride the train and the carousel. Chase had never done that before, and we had so much fun! Here is Chase and Alex on the train...it was a full little car with Chase, Alex, Gran, and me!





Chase and me on the carousel..Chase talked about the "neigh neigh" he was riding the whole time! Alex and Gran were in front of us...Alex rode the black and white pig that he called a cow :)
One of Chase's favorite things to do now is watch "Big Bird". This is the first and only show that he currently cares very much about, but he loves it! For a long time he only liked Big Bird, but he is starting to like Elmo now too. If neither of them are on the screen, he quickly brings us the remote to fast forward...it is so funny!

Ruby is still doing great these days and Chase loves her more and more everyday!


This was taken one day when Chase fell asleep in Costco...he loves sleeping on his Daddy...

Alex came over to play in the baby pool one day. When Drew saw this picture, his words were..."That looks like trouble!" They are so cute together!

The Zoo with Alex

Well, this is the first of many "catch-up" blog updates! August already came and went with no updates, so I can't let that happen in September too! These pictures were taken in August when we took Chase to the Zoo with Alex and Anna. We had a great time! This is a perfect representation of Chase and Alex these days...always holding hands, and Chase goes wherever Alex takes him. They are so sweet together!

Another day at the Zoo...

We took Chase to the Zoo the other day and we went to the petting zoo part for the first time. Chase loved it! Here he is sitting on the tractor...

He loved looking at the sheep and talking back to them...every time they talked to him, he quickly said "baa baa" right back!


Chase also loved petting the goats. He first proceeded to "love" on them and hug them the way that he does with Ruby. They didn't like that too much :)

Chase has really developed a love for the carousel this summer...

Chase's first visit to Camp Winnataska

We took Chase to Camp the other night and had so much fun! The horse was the first thing that we saw when we got there and he did not want to leave the "neigh neigh". He loved petting it!



Mama Zo spoke at Hillside that night and she did a great job....Chase really enjoyed watching her too!

Happy Birthday Gran!

My Dad's birthday is July 4rth, so this year we celebrated at Hunter and Anna's new house! It is a great house and we are so excited for them! We had a great time with everyone and I think Dad had a great birthday!

July 4rth weekend with the Cochrans

We went to Drew's parents to eat July 4rth weekend and had a great time with everyone! Chase especially liked helping the boys make the homemade ice cream!
