Drew was interviewed for an article through UAB on what it is like to be in medical school and have a family. I got to see a sneak peek at his answers and he did such a great job! Chase, Ruby, and I are so blessed to have him...he is the very best! He has handled himself so well these past three years, and I know that while he will be an excellent doctor, he will always be an excellent father and husband first. I took this picture below for Drew to submit for the article...
More pictures of Chase that day....he is always on the go!
We went to eat dinner with the Cochrans this past weekend and we stopped to see Drew's Nana on the way. We haven't seen her in a while so it was great to get to see her and sit and visit with her. She is such and amazing woman and I am so glad that Chase is getting to know her. He thoroughly enjoyed himself!Chase at the Cochran's house in his new camping chair that his Mama Zo and Pops gave him! He also loves the remote these days...he holds it up to his ear and looks at us to say "Hello"- remotes and cell phones look pretty similar! He also has on his new tennis shoes here...they are his first pair of Nike's and they make him look like such a big boy!
Chase's Pops got a new riding lawn mower, so Chase had to get his picture made on it...
Chase and Aunt Julie playing with his ball...
Chase with his Mama Zo and Pops...
Chase with Uncle Wes... Chase with Uncle Clay trying on Mama Zo's glasses...(he still has his remote in hand, of course)
Chase is into everything these days! He loves pulling things off shelves and out of drawers! He loves it when we put bubbles in the bathtub! He quickly learned how to make himself look like Santa Claus! (that is what he has done in the pictures below..its kinda hard to tell) Drew hung Chase's swing in the backyard this past Friday and he loves it! He got to swing for a little over an hour before the rain started. He was also very happy to be holding his ball while swinging..."ball" and "uh oh" are also two of his favorite words to say lately.
This is our house when it snowed...school wasn't canceled but all I wanted to do was stay home and play in the snow! It was so beautiful!
Drew had to be at the hospital early that morning so this was my creative way of getting a picture of Chase and Ruby without getting him all wet before school...
Chase loved his first Valentine's Day and he certainly got his wear out of all of his Valentine's outfits! Here he is before church one morning...he loves sitting on his changing pad...but we don't leave him unsupervised, of course! Chase and Daddy ready for church!
Chase and Daddy after school...He has always loved Drew, but now he always wants to be with Drew if he is there- and one of his favorite words is "Dada"..it is so sweet!
We tried to get a good Valentine's Day picture of Chase and Ruby and these are what we came up with... Chase is starting to get a little big for his seat!
We kept Alex while Hunter and Anna went on their Valentine's date and we had so much fun! We went out to eat, which was an adventure...taking two kids out to eat is definitely different than just one! They were both so sweet, though, and they really had fun playing in the tub! Alex tried on my rainboots:)
Chase loves playing with Ruby and pulling up on everything so he can see better! The other night, I was in the kitchen making cookies and this was my view....Ruby is already teaching him how to beg!
We had to include a picture of Chase waving....that is what he does all the time now. He waves at everyone and everything- it is so cute! He has been just doing his arm straight up in the air, but last night he started flopping his hand up and down too.
