We started our Spring Break last Saturday...we went to Montgomery to my good friend Sara's house and we had so much fun! Sara and her husband, Davis, moved to Montgomery almost 2 years ago, so our little group of college friends hasn't gotten together quite as much since then. So, Meredith, Mary Laura, Drew, Chase, and I all met Sara, Davis, and Traci at Sara and Davis's house for lunch. We had a great time and it was so much fun for all of the kids to meet! After we left Sara's, Drew, Chase, and I went to visit my cousin Jenn who also lives in Montgomery. Karl and Jack had gone to see Karl's family in Pheonix City for the weekend, but we were excited that we got to see Jenn and Annie Elizabeth!
On Tuesday, Alex came to our house for the morning...we played at the house and then went to the playground! Anna and Drew met us there after a while, and everyone had a great time! Here is Chase trying to walk with Drew...

Drew got a golf ball out of his car and Chase liked playing with the ball on the slide...he LOVES balls these days and that is definitely his favorite word!

On Wednesday, we had fun playing out in the yard...Chase loves playing in the balls and sliding and swinging on his little playset!
No matter how many balls are around him...he still likes Ruby's tennis ball the most!
Chase liked to put the ball at the top of the slide and watch it go down...
His pants got dirty, so we are just sporting the diaper for the camera!

Whenever we say "Hello", Chase picks up the phone (or whatever else may be close by), holds it to his ear, and says "Hi"
On Thursday, we went to the Zoo! We bought the year long family pass, but this was our first time to go. We had a great time! Chase slept for most of the Zoo trip in the stroller, but he enjoyed it when he woke up! (and Drew and I enjoyed it the whole time!) This was right after Chase woke up...
He made sure that he woke up for his Mama's favorite...the seals- he liked them!

On Friday, Chase got his first haircut and he did such a great job! The lady who cuts my hair, Marcella, cut his hair. Marcella has cut my hair since I was a little girl...she cuts my parents' hair too, and she and her family have truly become special friends of my family through the years. So, it was really special for her to give him his first haircut. He sat in Drew's lap the whole time and was so sweet. He really loved when she gave him a sucker, and his haircut looks great!

We wrapped up Spring Break on Saturday and Sunday playing out in the yard and spending as much time outside in the beautiful weather as possible! Chase is playing in my t-shirt and his sunglasses!
